For a glass to be considered fire-resistant, it must simultaneously satisfy two conditions:
stability and integrity of the application during the specified time.
The Pyroshield® fire-resistant glass line is the most technical and cost-efficient alternative
used in the world when choosing a fire retardant application. Defined by firefighters as the
best glass against fire, Pyroshield®, in its Clear and Safety versions, is the most
recommended glass by specialists from all over the world. Colorless and transparent, it is
manufactured only in 6 mm thickness and is supplied in 1980x3300mm sheets.
Both versions of Pyroshield® can be cut and polished without difficulty with common
glazier tools. Pyroshield® Safety is a safety glass that meets the class C of IRAM Standard
12559 for safety glass.
